Today happens to be a women’s day so I bet I should start with wishing you a happy international women’s day.

I thought I should take some few minutes from my schedule and pen down something small for the women. To the gents, kindly read and pass along this message to all the ladies you care about. To the ladies, please take a seat; I want us to remind ourselves of something(s).

You are loved

I love the song by Jonathan McReynolds, I’m not lucky I am loved. This song reminds me that I am loved by Love Himself. He says:

Jer 31:3nkjv The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying: ‘Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore, with loving-kindness I have drawn you.

Message bible version says, “I’ve never quit loving you and never will. Expect love, love, and more love!”

Dear daughter, God loves you, He says He will never stop loving you. Sometimes we get hurt, other times we love people who don’t love us back, and people who make us doubt our worth. But you can rest on the assurance that the king of kings loves you.

Don’t waste your time crying over those who treat you badly, and those who have hurt you. People meant for you will love you, as you ought to be loved.

You are enough

Being enough means you do not have to change yourself to be something or someone else. You do not have to spend all your cash to slay like nani. You do not need a thousand likes on Instagram to feel like you are someone.

Being enough however does not mean that you do not need to work on yourself. It is important work on your flaws. It also does not mean that you do not need anyone in your life. No man, or rather in this case, no woman is an island. It does not mean you do not need help every once in a while.

Being enough simply means that you know your worth and you do not allow anyone to trample on that. It means that you know you are not perfect, you got flaws, you make mistakes. But enough is not something you become…it is who you are.

There is so much I can say about this but allow me to stop there for now. You may be hurting, hating yourself, tired of being taken for granted, tired of giving too much of yourself. But let me remind you that you are loved, you are precious, and you are beautiful. Your life maybe messed up right now but it does not change who you are.

So pick yourself up and let amazingness ooze out of you.

Cheers!
